
Overseas packaging always requires maximal emphasis on initial planning, the break-up of technology trees into individual parts, and technical drawings. Based on these information, a packing plan for single projects is outlined subsequently. According to product dimensions and weight, a specific shipping container is selected in order to meet all the expectations with the lowest costs possible. In our case, a set of those escalator parts, the customer found worn, damaged, or simply outdated after a period of use, was packed. From an economic point of view, it was more profitable to replace only some parts instead of a whole escalator. A great option for the customer – a puzzle for logisticians.
