The EU Regulation 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers will come into effect on December 13, 2014, the obligation to provide nutrition information on December 13, 2016. Over the next few months, a lot of work will be waiting for food manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, including those engaged in distance selling. Everything that has to be changed and updated was presented by Martin Štěpanek and David Zima from the Food Safety Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the CR at a  workshop in March. This event took place in the frame of a RetailTrain lecture cycle conducted by ATOZ Retail and ATOZ Packaging, members of ATOZ Group.
